About Alice Anne Parker

Identified by Honolulu Magazine as Hawaii's best known psychic, Alice Anne Parker is also recognized throughout the world for her work on dreams. Her first book, Understand Your Dreams, has sold over 57,000 copies and is in its third edition. Understand Your Dreams is translated into Portuguese, German, and Hebrew. The Last of the Dream People, a metaphysical adventure novel based on the legendary Temiar-Senoi people of central Malaysia is currently optioned for film production.

Alice Anne produced and hosted "Dreamline," a call-in radio show on dreams in Honolulu for five years. She has also written a regular feature on dreams for Body Mind Spirit Magazine and was a featured presenter at the Conference of the International Association for the Study of Dreams.

Alice Anne is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Hunter College in NYC and holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University. She has taught at Rutgers University, The School of Visual Arts, The University of California at Berkeley, and for six years was a Professor of Humanities at the San Francisco Art Institute. She is an award winning filmmaker, whose seven short films have been honored at the Cannes Film Festival, the New York Film Festival, the Venice Biennalle, at a one-person show at the Whitney Museum of American Art and at a retrospective at The Pacific Film Archive. Two of her films are included in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute.

Her recent activities include work at Gregory House, a residential facility for AIDS patients, and volunteer work with inmates at Halawa Prison, a maximum security facility in Honolulu where she presented an ongoing dream workshop. AAwithGrandpa2

Alice Anne currently resides in Hau'ula, Hawaii, where she offers residential workshops  at her home, a former Tibetan Buddhist Retreat Center. She continues her practice of psychic counsel to a world-wide clientele in the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Italy, India, Iceland, France, Bali, Spain and Switzerland.
